Perfume : The story of a Murderer
My favorite book is 'Perfume'. 'Perfume : The story of a Murderer' was written by german writrt Patrick Suskind in 1985. The novel explores the sense of scent and its relationship with the emotional meaning that scents may carry. Grenonille, A hero of the novel, was a person sensitive to odor. He abstacted women's scent to create the perfect perfume by murdering. What an interesting story! I read the novel in the high school. At that time,I shall never forget the impression made upon me. The plot was thrills and especially the ending shocked me. In 2006, it was turned into a feature film with same name. I also watched the film. therefore, the scene was not better than what I imagined. If I have chance, I should try to reread the novel.

I read this book!!!
It's so interesting but the movie was too short to contain all of the contents in the book...
I saw that movie, but maybe I couldn't underestand all of the meaning. maybe it is not a complete story, just a part of the novel. I think I should read the novel when I have a free time!!

At that time, I tried to see this movie but I saw a different one eventually. so I just know the preview.
But otherwise, I can feel for you.
I usually see a movie which I read a book, also. and sometimes I feel a movie after I've read the book can be very disappointing. I can enjoy sound effects and confirm own image, though...
I saw movie which has same story, but didn't see this book. When I saw this movie, I'm very angry... Because, this story's result is vain. I would like to read this by book!

What an intriguing idea--scent and emotions. I often remember how something tastes, but I don't know if I remember how something smells. Perfume sounds like an interesting read!
